Eagle Farm Racecourse Description

The Eagle Farm Racecourse turf track is 28 metres wide, with a circumference of 2,027 metres and a home straight of 434 metres. Races are run in a clockwise direction.

There are two large, gradual sweeping turns at the Eagle Farm Racecourse. This makes good barrier positions very important for leaders and on pace runners. Meanwhile, the long, spacious straight helps horses that run on from the rear of the field.
