Victoriana Stakes winner is You Will Love Me!
You Will Love Me gave it all she's got and was rewarded handsomely as she captured the $125,000 Victoriana Stakes on Sunday, August 18, 2008 , at Woodbine racecourse.
You Will Love Me completed the assignment in a time of 1:42.02 over the 'firm' turf surface at Woodbine racecourse.
Under the direction of jockey Eurico Rosa da Silva, You Will Love Me sat near the pacesetting Galipette through early splits of :24.01 and :47.90.
However, the strongly-running Executive Flight seized the lead toward the stretch and looked like she was well on her way to triumph. However, You Will Love Me dug in along the rail and was unwilling to give the game away.
In the end, You Will Love Me wouldn't be denied her victory and won by ½-length.
Favoured Executive Flight came in second while Bold Corky was third.

You Will Love Me paid $14.30, $6.60 and $4.60 for her Del Mar racecourse victory. Executive Flight returned $3.10 and $2.40 while Bold Corky paid $7.30 to show.
Her victory at the Victoriana Stakes was You Will Love Me's sixth career win. Her last win was in the Eternal Search Stakes on August 29, 2007 at the Polytrack surface of Woodbine racecourse.
