Chief Dan George leads competitive field in Scottish Grand National!

Chief Dan George is the favourite to win the Scottish Grand National to be held at Ayr Racecourse on Saturday, 18 April 2009 . Chief Dan George has just had five races in fences in his entire career and has never finished out of the top three. An expected good racing ground will likely enhance his performance at Ayr Racecourse this Saturday.

Chief Dan George is expected to face several lightly raced competitors near the head of the market but the biggest threats are likely to come from Tricky Trickster and Nine De Sivola.

Nine De Sivola has yet to win in his 17 chase starts but has finished second in this race two years ago.

Tricky Trickster has already beaten Nine De Sivola and looks to repeat his feat in this edition of the Scottish Grand National.

Another to look out for is Merigo who has already won at Ayr Racecourse two times but might prefer a softer ground than what is forecast on Saturday.

One who is interesting at a big price is Parsons Legacy who was a close third two years ago in the Scottish Grand National.
