Spanish Moon takes Floodlit Stakes!
Spanish Moon comfortably captured the digibet Floodlit Stakes at Kempton Racecourse.
Under the direction of jockey Ryan Moore, Spanish Moon led from the gate and never let the opponents have a crack at the prize.
Spanish Moon was the the 7-4 favourite going into the Floodlit Stakes and set a decent pace with Arthur's Girl sitting in behind on the rails.
Ryan Moore prodded Spanish Moon to increase speed off the bend when the defending champion Dansant threatened to break loose from the outside.
In the end, no one got close to overtaking Spanish Moon who easily triumphed by 1½ lengths in the Kempton Racecourse extravaganza.
Re Barolo came in at second place while Scintillo was in third spot. |
