Ripon Racecourse is a thoroughbred horse racing course located in North Yorkshire in northern England. It hosts about 15 flat races in a year.

Ripon Racecourse has a tight oval of a mile and 5 furlongs. It has sharp bends, slight undulations, and contains a dip near the finish line.
Ripon Racecourse is thought to give an advantage to frontrunners in 1 to 1½-mile races.
Analysts also say that a low number draw has an advantage on the sprint racecourse except when the going is soft or heavy.
