Classic Blade wins KJ Pike and Sons Ltd Auction Stakes at Salisbury!
Classic Blade captured the K J Pike & Sons Ltd Auction Stakes on Sunday at Salisbury Racecourse.
Classic Blade's trainer Tom Dascombe is eyeing the Tattersalls Ireland Sales Stakes at Curragh Racecourse as the next race on his ward's programme.
Classic Blade executed a formidable two-length triumph at Salisbury Racecourse on Sunday.
"The plan is to go for the Tattersalls Ireland Sales Stakes at the Curragh on August 23," said Dascombe.
"I was a bit worried about this ground as he has the action to want it softer, but he's ended up bolting in."
"He only cost 17,000 and the Irish race is worth 300,000, so it's worth winning." Dascombe added.
Parmigiano was sent off the 13-8 favourite in the Salisbury Racecourse event on Sunday but he was relegated into last as Classic Blade was in full control of the race.
